Meet Our Owner
Angela L. Exum, Ph.D., LMHC, NBCT
Dr. Exum has been helping children and families for more than 24 years. She has worked in a myriad of public and private institutions with diverse populations of all ages.
Dr. Exum dedicated her life to serving and educating individuals in need, promoting mental health awareness, and helping couples and families work well together by enhancing communication.
She has served as a Collegiate Assistant Director of Student Services, an Adjunct Professor, K-12 School Counselor and Administrator, a Behavior Specialist, and a Family Counselor.
Education, Certifications, and License
Dr. Exum received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Canisius College, and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Counseling from Barry University.
She is also a licensed Mental Health Counselor who holds certifications in the areas of School Counseling and Leadership and Supervision in the States of New York and Florida. She is a nationally board-certified Educator, qualified Parent Coordinator, Active Parent Trainer and certified Florida Supreme Court Family Mediator.
