Our Special Services
Supervision for Mental Health Counselors & Marriage & Family Therapist Interns
A highly qualified professional who reviews cases, diagnosis and treatments; and discusses ethical, and legal issues. Dr. Exum has completed the education, experience, and supervision mentoring requirements in the areas of Mental Health and Marriage and Family Therapy established by the State of Florida Governing Boards. She meets Interns on a Face to Face basis in an individual or group setting to discuss cases and provide valued guidance and professional advice.
Parent Coordination
A parent coordinator provides a child-focused alternative dispute resolution process whereby the parenting coordinator assists parents in creating or implementing a parenting plan to help promote co-parenting. The parent coordinator facilitates the resolution of disputes between parents, providing education, and making recommendations
Family Mediation Services (Pro Se Cases Only)
Family mediation is a process whereby a neutral and impartial third party acts to encourage and facilitate the resolution of a family dispute by promoting shared decision making.
It is an informal and non-adversarial process intended to help disputing parties reach a mutually acceptable agreement. Focus is placed on the participants’ needs and common interest.
Mental Health Consulting
Mental health consulting helps identify, understand, and support social and emotional development in school-aged children by partnering with families and caregivers to remediate problems.
In addition, it assures concerned parents and guardians that certain behaviors are a normal part of child development. Mental health consulting also pinpoints areas of concern that may need to be further investigated and/or referred to appropriate resources.
Organizational Consulting
Organizational Consulting identifies the culture of an organization through observation, research, and interviews in order to analyze and understand the underpinnings of the workplace.
These help to determine whether all productivity, employee morale, effective use of personnel, problem solving techniques, and team building are working together for the good of the organization.
Marriage and Couples Counseling
Relationships of all types can be very challenging; therefore, it is vital to seek real soul-lutions that matter. Couples may face a myriad of issues, and experience unexpected circumstances such: as illnesses, death, and/or financial problems that can shake the foundation of their marriage.
Breaking the cycle of unhealthy patterns by forming positive habits and enhancing positive communication will help couples make informed decisions pre and post marriage or divorce, and build promising futures.
